Salma Hayek Rocks String Bikini, Called “Ageless” By Fans

Salma Hayek is “diving into August” – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post the star shows off her stunning body in a bathing suit, making a splash with her followers who find it hard to believe that she is 57. “Such a FINE! woman ❤❤🤌🤌” commented one of her followers. “You age like the absolute finest wine 🍷” added another. How does she stop the hands of time? Here is everything you need to know about her beauty habits.

1. Meditating

Salma understands the importance of getting her zen on. “Now I’m 57 years old, I have a lot of tools. Meditation is my go-to,” she told Vogue Arabia. She even told ET that she believes it is the secret to the fountain of youth. “I really believe it is. People say it’s exercising. I think it’s meditation,” she shared. “You have to find your way. For me, exercising is hard… It’s really, really difficult to have the discipline to do it. But meditation is a walk in the park, because it’s my own form of it,” she said. “You sit in a moment with yourself, that’s already meditation,” she added. “But I do it every day.” “When you meditate, you may clear away the information overload that builds up every day and contributes to your stress,” says the Mayo Clinic. Benefits include:

  • Gaining a new perspective on stressful situations
  • Building skills to manage your stress
  • Increasing self-awareness
  • Focusing on the present
  • Reducing negative emotions
  • Increasing imagination and creativity
  • Increasing patience and tolerance
  • Lowering resting heart rate
  • Lowering resting blood pressure
  • Improving sleep quality

2. Not Washing Her Face in the Morning

“I don’t wash my face in the morning — never, never, never. I never wash my face in the morning, I think it’s bad for your skin — I just moisturize. I really wash my face at night,” Salma told The Cut.

3. Tepezcohuite

Salma told ELLE that one ingredient keeps her skin looking youthful: “I use an ingredient called tepezcohuite that’s used in Mexico for burn victims because it completely regenerates the skin, and there’s no one in the States who is using this ingredient except for us,” she says. “Some of the ingredients, when I took them to the American labs, they were like ‘Oh my god! How come nobody is using this?’ This is why I have no Botox, no peels, no fillings. I’m 48. I will be 49 this year and I only use my creams.”

4. Hair Masks

“I’ve always been diligent with my beauty regimen,” Salma told PS. “When I started the line, I wasn’t dyeing my hair. Now, I need a little extra — once you start dyeing your hair, you need to [use a] mask [on] it!” She opts for Nuance Raw Honey Color Protect Hair Mask with natural humectants like raw honey, acai oil, and passion fruit oil. “You have to do a little extra maintenance.”

5. Restorative Yoga

“I work with a woman in London who taught me how to hold my body in a way where the muscles are activated all day long. So even when you brush your teeth, you’re working the muscles,” Salma told People. “It’s restorative yoga,” she explains. “She taught me to tone [my muscles] without clenching them. You relax them and focus on the parts that need to be used, but never with tension. If you’re aware of your body, you’d be surprised by the effect it can have.”
