Why it matters​


While it’s not realistic to expect every day to be great, making sure that YOU are doing ok is an important step toward serving others.

You’re a giver and you genuinely care about the well-being of the people in your world. This is one of your very best qualities… it’s the main reason I want you to join the JOY BITES tribe (join here). Givers flock together and support each other.

But the thing is, if you are running low and you try to give… whatever you offer will be felt as less-than-genuine.

If you’ve been on the receiving end of a gift like that, you know it didn’t feel like a gift. It felt like an obligation. We don’t want the people we care about to feel like requirements. We want them to feel like they matter. It’s important that we not only give others help, but also honor and dignity.

This can happen when we give from a place of fullness.

Sometimes all it takes is a quick #feelgood check-in. Followed by a quick adjustment.
